Notes | The role of Don Quixote and the Padre have already been cast. Mandatory attendance required for tech week June 23 through opening and for all performances and brush up rehearsals. Also seeking ASM and running crew, prop master, light board operator and sound operator. |

This is a non-singing role unless he also doubles as one of the prison characters later in the play. | Sancho Panza (The Manservant) | M | Older than Don Quixote, he is shorter and more squat. He has served Quixote/Cervantes for many years and is devoted to him, even with all his idiosyncrasies. Tenor (C to high A). Sings Man of La Mancha, Golden Helmet, Knight of the Woeful Countenance, Dulcinea, The Missive, I Really Like Him, A Little Gossip, and Impossible Dream. | Aldonza (Dulcinea) | F | A serving woman and part time prostitute at the Inn, she is rough on the outside, but has a gentle heart inside and yearns to believe what Don Quixote tell her. Quixote falls in love with her and insists her name is Dulcinea and that she is a beautiful, gentle woman. Soprano (low A Flat to high A Flat). Sings It's All the Same, What Does He Want of Me?, Aldonza, Dulcinea, & Impossible Dream. | The Innkeeper (The Governor) | M | A large and powerful man, he is kind as the Innkeeper, but as the Governor is the leader of the prisoners? society in the dungeon. Bass (low A to C sharp). Sings The Dubbing, and Knight of the Woeful Countenance. | The Duke (Dr. Sanson Carrasco/Knight Of The Mirrors) | M | As the character of the Duke, he is a fellow Prisoner and sidekick to the Governor. However, when he plays Dr. Carrasco, he is Antonia?s fianc?. He thinks Don Quixote is mad and insists that he come home and be treated for his malady. He loves money & prestige. He is also the Knight of the Mirrors in disguise. Baritone (low C to D flat). Sings We're Only Thinking of Him. | The Barber | M | Comedic Role, he is the traveling barber with the Golden Helmet Tenor (F to high G). Sings Golden Helmet of Mambino and Barber's Song. | Antonia | F | Alonso Quijana's (Quixote) self-centered niece and Dr. Carrasco?s fiance. Mezzo (C to high F). Sings I'm/ We're Only Thinking of Him. | The Housekeeper | F | Alonso Quijana's strong housekeeper who is full of hope, and with strong religious/ moral convictions. Mezzo (A to high F). Sings I'm/We're Only Thinking of Him. | Pedro | M | The head muleteer, he is a mean and vicious man, leading the attack on Aldonza. He uses a bull whip Baritone (Low D to D).
