We are looking to cast this play as ethnically diverse as possible to bring the beautiful, cultural melting pot of New York City to life.

Rehearsal Dates
Rehearsals will be a primarily weeknights, starting in mid-October in Islip early on, and at Studio Theatre in Lindenhurst. A finalized rehearsal schedule will be based on the conflicts of the actors, production team, and Studio Theatre

(Puerto Rican) Jackie's 8th grade sweetheart. She is an addict, volatile, daddy issues. She has a good heart, but her substance issues make it difficult for her to truly express herself. Hides behind bravado and a false sense of toughness. Actress must be comfortable in a bra and panties on stage.

(Any ethnicity) Jackie's too-smooth, sweet-talking AA sponsor. Changed his life around and preaches the gospel of AA, but doesn't stop him from doing whatever he wants. He is influential and intelligent.

(Any ethnicity) Ralph D's disaffected wife. She is in recovery and desperately needs to feel alive again. As she puts it, ?is up to here with Ralph?s helium.? She feels stuck in her current situation. Actress must be comfortable with making out on stage.

(Puerto Rican) Jackie's cousin. He is flamboyant and extroverted, but prides himself in decorum and respect. He is family-oriented and is a self-made man. He is a jack of all trades and remains level-headed and thoughtful.
