| Show Info | As most Italian families do, Nick Cristano, a single Italian American guy from Hoboken, New Jersey, faithfully spends every Sunday going OVER THE RIVER to eat dinner with his grandparents, Nunzio & Emma, Frank & Aida, who happen to live two doors down from each other. Nick gets an offer he can’t refuse when his company gives him the opportunity to fulfill his dream of becoming the company’s marketing director. There’s a catch….in order to accept this position he has to move out of state and therefore leave behind his tenderhearted, loving, tenacious, and well fed grandparents. After breaking the news, Nick’s grandparents wonder how he can leave, how can he betray his family’s love, how he can move across the country…for a job...in Seattle, Washington? A series of schemes ensues in order to keep Nick home, including an invitation to the lovely Caitlin O’Hare to join them for Sunday dinner. The love the laughs the fun and the tugging at the heartstrings is what makes this a comedy/tearjerker that will transport you to a place we can never forget…home. |
