Show Info | Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical tells the story of Jim, who leaves the bright lights of show business behind to settle down on his farmhouse in Connecticut. He quickly discovers life isn’t the same without a bit of song and dance. Jim’s luck takes a spectacular turn when he meets Linda, a spirited schoolteacher with talent to spare. Together they turn the farmhouse into a fabulous inn with dazzling performances to celebrate each holiday, from Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July. But when Jim’s best friend Ted tries to lure Linda away to be his new dance partner in Hollywood, will Jim be able to salvage his latest chance at love? |

A bit of an opportunist, Ted is ever ready for his close up. Suave, good looking and slick, Ted is everyone?s best friend, always ready with a quip and always the life of the party - until he blacks out. Seeking excellent comic actor/dancer/singer - lyric baritone. Must be an first class tap dancer, no exceptions. | Lila Dixon | F | 30-39 | A showgirl at heart, Lila is Jim?s mismatched fianc?, Sexy and slinky and in love with the spotlight. She is addicted to the bright lights - and continues as Jim?s best friend?s dance partner - until she finds a better offer. Seeking excellent comic actor/singer/dancer - high belt. | Linda Mason | F | 30-39 | At first, she is emotionally distant and protected, unwilling to fall prey to Jim?s considerable charms. But she is soon won over by his kindness, cheekiness, and talent - and the two fall in love. A lovely charming actress, string dancer/singer - belt and high mix. | Danny | M | 40-59 | The energetic and sarcastic manager for the musical act of Hardy, Hanover, and Dixon. Will stop at nothing to make his clients stars. Non Dancing Role. | Charlie Winslow | M | 8-13 | A precocious, brutally honest 10 year-old student in Linda's class, Charlie works part time as a messenger for the town bank. Never one to mince words, Charlie speaks his opinions loudly and asks a lot of questions particularly when he's been reading the confidential messages he is delivering. When he brings Linda an apple pie and a dose of sympathy on Thanksgiving, she teaches him about the harsh realities of love. Seeking an excellent young character actor with strong speaking and singing voice, and a great sense of humor.
