VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Alto (G3 - Eb5) | Billy Crocker (Lead) | M | 20-35 | Billy is Elisha Whitney's kind but inefficient General Manager, who is in love with Hope. This actor must be charismatic, have good comedic timing and considerable charm. Dance skills required including tap. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Tenor (B3 - G4) | Hope Harcourt (Lead) | F | 20-29 | Hope is a wealthy and beautiful heiress. She has a sweet personality with a strong sense of morals and duty and is sparkling and ladylike. Dance skills pereferred. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Soprano (A4 - Eb5) | Lord Evelyn Oakleigh (Lead) | M | 30-49 | Hope's aristocratic English fiance. He is earnest, gullible and absolutely fascinated by American slang. This actor must be a strong comedic actor with a believable upper crust English accent. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Baritone (C3 - G4) | Moonface Martin (Lead) | M | 45-60 | This guy is a loveable, goofy gangster who is "public enemy No 13", and travelling disguised as a priest. He desperately yearns to be public enemy No 1. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Baritone (Bb3 - Gb4) | Bonnie (Supporting) | F | 20-29 | Bonnie is the sidekick to Moonface and girlfriend of the never seen Snake Eyes Johnson. Cute, lovable, modern 20s gangster moll. Dance skills required including tap. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Mezzo (A4 - C#5) | Evangeline Harcourt (Supporting) | F | 40-65 | Hope's widowed, overbearing mother who is mainly concerned with money and social status. This actor must be able to span the distance between refined lady and panic stricken comedienne to breathless receiver of renewed hope. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Doesn't sing solo. | Elisha Whitney (Supporting) | M | 45-60 | A successful Ivy league Wall Street banker. He is extremely near sighted and a gloriously functional drunk. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Baritone (C4 - D4) | Captain Reginald Strong (Supporting) | M | 40-59 | This man is in charge of the ship, the SS American. This actor should have good comedic timing. VOCAL RANGE REQUIRED: Baritone. | Reno's Angels (Featured) | F | 15-20 | Reno's backup singers and dancers for her nightclub act. The collective feel of the Angels is that they charge the atmosphere.
