InstructionsAll roles open, ages 15 and up welcome. Please prepare a song from the show (preferably for the character for which you are auditioning). Billy Crocker (Lead)M20-35Billy is Elisha Whitney's kind but inefficient General Manager, who is in love with Hope. This actor must be charismatic, have good comedic timing and considerable charm.

Hope Harcourt (Lead)F20-29Hope is a wealthy and beautiful heiress. She has a sweet personality with a strong sense of morals and duty and is sparkling and ladylike.

Lord Evelyn Oakleigh (Lead)M30-49Hope's aristocratic English fiance. He is earnest, gullible and absolutely fascinated by American slang. This actor must be a strong comedic actor with a believable upper crust English accent.

Moonface Martin (Lead)M45-60This guy is a loveable, goofy gangster who is "public enemy No 13", and travelling disguised as a priest. He desperately yearns to be public enemy No 1.

Bonnie (Supporting)F20-29Bonnie is the sidekick to Moonface and girlfriend of the never seen Snake Eyes Johnson. Cute, lovable, modern 20s gangster moll.

Evangeline Harcourt (Supporting)F40-65Hope's widowed, overbearing mother who is mainly concerned with money and social status. This actor must be able to span the distance between refined lady and panic stricken comedienne to breathless receiver of renewed hope.

Elisha Whitney (Supporting)M45-60A successful Ivy league Wall Street banker. He is extremely near sighted and a gloriously functional drunk.
