Running Scared, Running Free is an Award-winning suspenseful and inspiring story set in 1850, the year the Fugitive Slave Act was imposed.. The dramatic story tells of Dorcas, a quick-witted and resourceful runaway slave from South Carolina who is being tracked and hunted by a ruthless Bounty Hunter determined to capture her to be returned to the callous plantation owner.
We are looking for a strong, confident African-American actress to portray the defiant and resourceful Dorcas.
