The Long Island Musical Theatre Festival will be collaborating with The Argyle Theatre on the Long Island premiere of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.  We will be recruiting and preparing the onstage choir. This opportunity is open to students in grades 9-12, as well as Collegiate and Community Choir members. We are looking for strong musicians, preferably with moderate to advanced sight reading skills who can sing in varying styles. Details can be found on our website at www.limtf.org.

The Port Jefferson Charles Dickens Festival is still looking to cast

SECOND STORY MAN (and the Secret of Success) is a musical comedy / drama about a cat burglar & his family. It tells of the various instances James (the husband) has gotten into financial trouble with a loan shark and what he must do to get out of the loan shark’s debt. James’ wife Jenny knows of this but doesn’t approve of his methods of getting out of debt. Ollie, James’ son, has graduated from college with an art degree but is unable to get a job. Ollie meets Monica, who has recently moved onto the street with her Mom & Dad, and they start a friendship. Coney Island Mike, the loan shark, is in the background of all this, to get his debt repaid by James of a failed business. There is a supporting cast of all men who are in the same business as James (cat burglars) who try and convince Ollie to join the business.
This is for a presentation showcase – on 9/26 & 9/27 730pm in NYC. Rehearsals are generally 2 mornings a week at the Shetler Studios on W 54 St in NYC.
