Very Truly Yours, Gilbert & Sullivan is a two-act play featuring dramatic and comic readings from the correspondence of William S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, interspersed with songs from all 14 of the operas on which they worked together. The piece is based on the team's diaries and letters, contemporary memoirs and newspaper reports. However, "This isn’t a revue of Gilbert & Sullivan songs," Wren said, “but rather a play that traces the history of the collaboration"
