Guys and Dolls takes place in the 1940’s hustle-and-bustle setting of New York City’s Time Square during the Great Depression. It revolves around two big-city gamblers and the women who dare to love them.
Composer and lyricist Frank Loesser’s award-winning score includes favorites like “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat,” and “I’ve Never Been in Love Before.”
Note
Those who want to support local theatre in Babylon will also be delighted by The Argyle’s concession area. While it maintains the retro charm of the former vintage movie theatre, parts of the lobby will be repurposed to create a modern bar area where patrons can purchase wine, beer, and cocktails and socialize in the new lounge.
