A Workshop of an original musical entitled ""Happening Woman"" will be performed on November 13, 2021. The story focuses on the hardships and accomplishments faced by Mother Cabrini, back in the 1890's, as well as a modern-day tale about a 14-year-old girl named Kathy who struggles with her own disabilities, while having a strong veneration of a Saint she truly admires. Kathy asks her friends and family to help her accomplish similar hopes and dreams that Mother Cabrini always fought for, but as the story unfolds, anything worth getting is never easy.
Instructions
When you arrive, you will be asked to provide a Picture/Resume and fill out an audition form. Please be sure that all info is correct and clear. We want to be able to contact you.
August 4th -
Singers - Please prepare 16-32 bar tracks to which you will sing of an up-tempo or ballad. Preferably contemporary, but not limited to. You are to bring your own accompaniment to be played on your own device. Actors- Sides will be provided if you are asked to stay and read. If not asked to stay, that does not mean you won't be considered.
August 5th -
Call backs and Singers who move- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. No sneakers please. A short combination will be taught for both past and present day scenes. *Please note that an additional date for ""Singers who move"" might be scheduled for the following week as well *
