Want to make God Laugh? Tell him your plans! "Making God Laugh" follows a typical family across thirty years' of holidays. Starting in 1980, Ruthie and Bill's children (a priest, an aspiring actress and a former football star) return home where we learn of their plans and dreams as they embark on their adult lives. As the decades pass, we see that while things may not go to plan, they usually turn out okay anyway.
