These are paid positions at $15 per hour for rehearsals and performances Both productions are daytime and ensemble based, so all rehearsals and performances are required. Instructions | For My Butterfly please prepare 1 brief cut of an up-tempo musical theater song best suited for your voice part. There will be a movement/dance call at callbacks. Everyone cast will be involved in puppeteering other characters as well. |

Valenti | M | 0+ | Male presenting- Star of Stage and Screen. Hector is the narrator of the show and Lyle’s previous owner. Valenti is a man of many talents and very aloof. | Comedy Duo | M/F | 0+ | Multi-role characters who play off one another. Characters include, moving persons, fire persons, crocodiles, guards. These characters are also very physical actors. | Mr. Primm | M | 0+ | Male presenting. Echoing a Ward Cleaver type character/father figure. Very much in love with his wife and a strong head of household. | Mrs. Primm | F | 0+ | Female presenting. Also echoing a June Cleaver type of character. Very motherly, caring, and loving of her son Joshua and new family member, Lyle. | Joshua | M/F | 0+ | Any gender, adult actor to play a pre-teen. A typical New York kid, with the exception of having a crocodile for a brother. | Ms. Nitpicker | F | 0+ | Female presenting. Ms. Nitpicker has the essence of an Elaine Stritch in “Ladies who Lunch” or the “Pick a Little, Talk a Little” gals from Music Man.
