I want to present a one-time reading of Gwendolyn Brooks' "Annie Allen" at our retirement community. I am not expecting this to be memorized. "Annie Allen" is an extended poem that won Brooks the Pulitzer Prize. I have a modest stipend to offer. I anticipate only one rehearsal, but can be more if time and geography allow.
