Directors Needed

Herricks Players is proud to announce that we will be performing Something Rotten as our Spring 2023 production!

Position needed: Director

Director oversees the production during all phases, from auditions to performances. The Director’s job involves developing a creative and functional vision of the production and works to bring that vision to fruition. Creates a rehearsal schedule and coordinates with musical director to include musical rehearsals. Teaches staging to the entire cast .
Performs consistent and timely communication to all parties involved in the production. Works and communicates with stage manager, costumer, and scenic designer to ensure timely and good work.

Stage Director – Oversees the production during all phases, from casting calls to performances. The Stage Director’s job involves developing a creative and functional vision of the production and works to bring that vision to fruition. Creates a rehearsal schedule and coordinates with musical director to include musical rehearsals. Teaches staging to the entire cast and ensures that all members are confident. Performs consistent and timely communication to all parties involved in the production. Works and communicates with tech director (responsible for stage and prop design, creation, and delivery of such), costumer, and graphic designer to ensure timely and good work.

Rehearsal Dates: Beginning October 2022 Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:30pm-10pm EST

Performance Dates:
Performances of piano/principal cast only begin Late April into early May.
Conducted full-orchestra/full-company performances take place in June through early July.
