Description
The sorcerer Prospero and her daughter have been wrongfully banished to a desolate island. A ship carrying her usurping brother, along with the King of Naples, is returning home when Prospero raises a storm to run the ship aground. What follows is a classic tale of love, revenge, and magic as these mythical characters come together. EastLine is proud to present a workshop of its first original musical as William Shakespeare's verse is given new life in this adaptation of his final play, The Tempest. Join us as we conjure jazz, folk, and the occasional banjo, to give you the sound of the Big Easy in EastLine's Prospero (LIVE)!
