The manipulative star of a popular soap opera meets a violent end just after Lois, a young actress, joins the cast of the show. The police quickly arrest a suspect, but Lois is sure they've got it all wrong. As suspicions swirl, tensions mount and dark secrets spill into the open, can she find the key to solving the case before the killer strikes again? "Murder in Studio 2B," set in the 1930s, is the latest production from Landmark Radio Theater, an original play written and presented in the classic style of murder mysteries from radio's Golden Age.
A talented cast gives voice to the story's array of vivid characters, with live music and sound effects created right on stage. The hourlong performance — similar to a staged reading — will also feature period-style station breaks between acts, just the way you might have heard them on the old Philco or Zenith receiver in the parlor.
Note
COVID POLICY: The theater is open at full capacity to everyone who has been vaccinated against Covid. Proof of current vaccination status is required at entry, either with a vaccination card or the NYS Excelsior Pass or similar electronic system. Per CDC guidelines, masks are strongly recommended, even for vaccinated persons. The theater does not have a non-vaccinated seating section, nor is it equipped to accept recent negative Covid tests as an alternative to proof of vaccination.
